Since 2009, On the Square has hosted a developmental readings series. These readings allow us to expand the circle of artists we work with and explore plays for future production. As we have grown as a company, we are expanding our readings to answer different needs of our authors.

SQUARE ONE, for plays early in the creation process. Square One allows us to provide artists a place to create and develop new work.

WRITE ANGLE READINGS, for plays that are further along. Write Angle Readings give writers a chance to hear their work in front of an audience, gain feedback, and put their play in front of potential backers.
